Our virtual class time will begin with a playful movement warm-up that brings us into an open state to learn. From here we'll explore, experiment, and engage with movement practices that blend awareness and curiosity so that you'll encounter an online learning experience like no other. We will set aside time for sharing via the Zoom chat features and we will answer questions related to our class time together. The class will go something like Plan to arrive for 9:15am (settle and connect) Class in session from 9:30am - 10:45am Break: 10:45am - 11am Class in session from 11am - 12pm

You are responsible for your own meals and accommodations and travel arrangements. Where should I sleep? There are many hotels in the London area which are only a Google search away. We'd suggest securing accommodation sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Airbnb and VRBO are also good resources for finding affordable housing. Getting around in London London is a big city! The London Transit system is excellent, to plan your travel for either the Tube or the bus you can use this link, London Public Transit . Depending on where you are coming from, both the Piccadilly line and the District line will bring you to the Hammersmith Station. The Re:Centre is just a 10-15 minute walk from that station. Taxis are also available ( Yellow London Taxi ). Another great way to get around London is their public bike service. There is a Santander Bike rack right by the Re:Centre. What's there to do in London? London is rich with history; Westminster Abbey , St Paul's Cathedral , Covent Gardens , Big Ben are all very special places to see and definitely worth the visit. If modern is more your thing there is something there for you too. The Tate Modern is a free gallery dedicated to modern and contemporary art. There are a variety of galleries, shows in the Theatre District and some of the best restaurants in the western world here! A great way to see a lot of places at a discounted rate is to use The London Pass .

No problem! This class will be recorded and the video and audio recording will be sent to everyone who registered. This means you can participate and gain the benefits of this guided class no matter where you are in the world and you have the recording to practice to your heart’s (and nervous system’s) content!!

Q: #4 What kind of interaction will I have with Irene and Elia? What happens if I have a trauma release during the workshop?

Irene and Elia will be the teachers for this three-day workshop and their teaching is always directed to the group. At times, they might offer some personalized support when needed that is movement-based to individual participants. Often they’ll demonstrate on those who’d like to be a demo participant to help the group understand and visualize a tricky movement pattern. If a participant experiences a trauma release during the workshop, they do not go into trauma processing with that participant. It is up to the participant to ensure they have enough regulation and capacity to be with what might arise during this workshop. Irene and Elia will not be available for personal consultation or private sessions during this workshop or outside of workshop hours.
